Spending half a day in the Louvre, on the one day a month it is free to enter the museum, I was SHOCKED at the way people were looking at the art, particularly the Mona Lisa.
Webster’s defines polymath as knowing much, a person of great and diversified learning.
A recent issue of Intelligent Life asked if these are “The last days of the polymath?” I don’t think they are. Because after reading the article, the light bulb came on. I’m an amateur polymath. And I know quite a few others.
Just in time for the weekend:
- How lovely it is to wake up on Friday morning, turn the alarm off and then completely turn it off for weekend! For the next two days, no more living by the alarm. Yay!
